Free Session

We can assess your own learning style in a free introductory session and with your agreement and cooperation, we can devise a schedule specifically for your needs.

We teach in English and ensure that everyone understands by explaining clearly and at a pace you are comfortable with.  This is especially important for international students studying in a second language.

Our sessions are confidential and focused on what you need at any time throughout your academic journey.

Information about the Free Session

During this session we will:

• Have a friendly, confidential chat with you so we can start to get to know each other and for you to decide if we are the right ‘fit’.
• Find out about your current situation and what you are hoping we can help you with.
• Help you answer a questionnaire to identify your Preferred Learning Style. This will help us tailor learning skill techniques that suit you.
• Suggest a few simple study skill strategies you can take away and put into action straight away.
• Begin to establish a supportive, friendly working relationship – we are on your side!
• Identify important key goals that we could work together on over a course of sessions.
• Ask for your feedback on how useful you have found the session, so we can improve what we are doing.
