Student Support
Students need to learn new skills and work methods to succeed as the progress through university. It can be difficult to absorb new ideas at each level and fully understand what is being asked of you.
All our courses and sessions are tailored to individual student needs. Students will explore on a one-to-one basis the study skills relevant to improving their approach to academic work or help them to address a skill they are struggling with.
For example, sessions may include exploring successful methods of time management, ways to organise yourself better, or how to apply critical thinking to researching and writing.
Whatever the difficulty our courses will be tailored to you from the beginning.
1 to 1 tailored sessions
Additional services include transitioning courses delivered direct to sixth form and FE students. Such courses are designed to give these groups of students the knowledge needed to help them successfully prepare for and transition into university life.
We offer one-to-one support to postgraduate students studying at MA or PhD level. We also provide full proof reading and editing services for dissertations, theses or assignments and will provide professional critical feedback on a piece of work.
Such services are separate from the courses provided and are priced on request.
Course Information
Most of our students book a 5 week or 10 week course.
Charges for these are:
10 weeks: £825.00
5 weeks: £425.00
Other students require a more condensed course. For example, they have imminent course work due, examinations or a viva coming up and we can always cater to those needs.
